Adventures With Kenya

I hope you all had a wonderful and relaxing Sunday. Yesterday, I decided to be productive and take my cute little Kenya on a walk. She has a love for sticks that surpasses most dogs. The thing about sticks is that the bigger and longer the stick the better. If the stick is a nice "normal" size we will play fetch with it, although most of the time she finds logs. As we were walking along she found an extremely long stick and decided it must be hers. As I look back at my 35 pound dog she is running down the path as happy as can be. Imagine a tight rope walker holding a balancing stick, then replace that image with a small dog and a huge stick. The stick must have stuck out 2 1/2 ft. on both sides of her mouth. She walked the entire rest of the path with this huge stick coming out both sides of her mouth. Throughout the walk she would turn around and check to see if I was still behind her, which caused her and her stick to almost topple over. Kenya was the happiest dog....until she had to leave that stick behind. I wish I had a  picture of how cute she looked but sadly I did not have a picture taking device on me.

Tomorrow starts one of  many workshops I will be attending this summer, it's going to be all about assessments. Do you have any workshops planned for this summer?

Yours Truly!
